Benardina Olusola Ayodele (Mrs.)
Benardina Olusola Ayodele (Mrs.) is an experienced banker with over 25 years of unblemished record in banking. Her background spans effective treasury management, credit administration, as well as restructuring and repositioning of banking institutions. Her career as a banker peaked in 2005 when the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) appointed her as Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of City Express Bank to pilot the ailing bank towards realizing the goals set by the apex authorities. Similar missions in Ivory Merchant Bank and Nationwide Merchant Bank where she served as Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer earned her the reputation of a turnaround expert. Ayodele was trained in the United States of America where she obtained the B.Sc. Accounting from the New York University (1977) and an MBA in International Finance (1979) from the Prestigious St. John’s University, New York. She is married with children.

Dr. Kabir Ahmed

Dr. Kabir Ahmed was appointed an Executive Director of Spring Bank Plc in January 2010. A well learned professional with over 30 years working experience in lecturing and banking. He started his professional career in 1979 as a Graduate Assistant with Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. He rose to the position of Senior Lecturer in English and later headed the Department of Modern European Languages for two years. He also held the Deanship of the Faculty of Arts and Islamic Studies for one year in the same university.
Dr. Ahmed’s sojourn in banking started with the United Bank of Africa Plc (UBA) in 1996 as Head, Human Resources Department. His versatility and professionalism was demonstrated while with UBA Plc considering the several key positions he held which includes – Head of Program Design and Development in Manpower Planning and Training Department (1997); Relationship Manager, Public Sector Group (1999), Group Head of Public Sector North-West, Kaduna (2000); Head, Corporate Affairs Division, Lagos (2001); Head, Federal Agencies and Commissions (2002), Head, Federal Ministries (2003); Head, Public Sector and Regional Director (North,2004); Head, Federal Parastatals and Public Companies (2005), Head, Public Sector (2006). In July, 2006, Dr. Ahmed joined Ecobank Nigeria Plc as the Head, Public Sector. He was appointed the Regional Head, overseeing the branches in seven North-Western states in 2008 before his appointment to the board of Spring Bank Plc in 2010.
He is a graduate of ABU, Zaria with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English in 1978. He holds an M.A. Degree in Modern African Literature from the University of Sheffield (1978) and a Doctorate Degree in English from the University of Kent, Canterbury (1989). He has attended several management courses at home and abroad and has published extensively. He is happily married with children.

Chief (Dr.) John Agboola Odeyemi, MFR

Chief (Dr.) John Agboola Odeyemi is the Obasewa of Ife and Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is the Managing Director and Chief Executive of JKN Limited and Chairman, JAO Investment Company Limited.
He serves on the Board of a number of other companies and he is the immediate past Chairman of Ecobank Nigeria Plc; Chairman Obafemi Awolowo University Investment Company Limited and UNO Foods Limited. He is also a Director of OASIS Insurance Company Limited, Multimalt Limited, Emzor Pharmaceutical Company Limited and Sowsco Well Services Limited.

He was the Past President of Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Past President of NACCIMA and was Chairman Nigerian Accounting Standards Board 1990 - 1995 and past President, Ife Development Board 1995 – 2004.
He was a member of the National Political Reform Conference February – July 2005; Member of the National Privatization Council (Bureau of Public Enterprise) October 2004 – October 2006; Member of the Committee on The Assessment and Monitoring of the Millennium Development Goals – June 2005 – October 2006 and currently Member of the Governing Board of UNESCO Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation Centre in KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria – FCA. He qualified with the Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (CIMA) U.K. 1996 and Chartered Association of Certified Accountant (ACCA) UK 1967.

Chief Odeyemi was Audit Senior at Cooper & Lybrand, Birmingham 1967-69 before joining JKN LTD in 1969 as an Accountant/Admin manager. He is the current Chief Executive Officer of the company.
He was honoured by the Federal Government of Nigeria as MEMBER OF THE ORDER OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC (MFR) 2005; by Osun State Government with the STATE DISTINGUISHED MERIT AWARD FOR PHILANTHROPY AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT in 2007 and by the ILE-IFE Community with DISTINGUISHED MERIT AWARD in 2008.
He was given a Merit Award by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 2005; Awarded Doctor of Science in Business Administration (Honoris Causa) by Obafemi Awolowo University Ife in December, 2007. He was also given a special award by the Federation of Construction Industry for his contributions to the infrastructural development in Nigeria in June 2009 and appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees of Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Osun State in September 2009.
