This is a 24 hour online Service that enables the sale and purchase of KWh credit. This service serves to complement the current mode of credit sale through Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) offices.
Business Challenge
- Kwh credits vouchers are currently only available for purchase from PHCN offices and selected branches of a few Banks.
- Sales offices are only opened during working hours and are hence not available after closing hours, weekends and public holidays
- Bill payments are also made only at PHCN offices and selected banks

Through innovation, Fleet Technologies Ltd proffered the use of Technology to bridge the gap between PHCN and its customers by providing
- A service would be available at request 24 hours a day via the internet and GSM mobile phones for customers make requests to the Prepaid Meter Service central server for Kwh credits (PINs).
- Customers will pay for the service using their debit/credit card and scratch cards.
This service is currently used by the Eko Electricity Distribution Company. Other zones across the federation have shown interest. |
