Joint Admissions and Marticulation Board (JAMB)

JAMB, under Decree No. 2 of 1978 (amended by Decree No. 33 of 1989) was to conduct Matriculation Examination for entry into all Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education (by whatever name called) in Nigeria among other functions. Since its existence, the Board has conducted examinations yearly for over a million candidates and single handedly have to carry out the manual labor of collating registration forms for all prospective candidate, sending out centre details to each candidates before the examination date and also distribute results after a successful examination.

Fleet Technologies Limited proffered the solution of an online centre checker and result checker to JAMB making access to examination information simple, easy, stress-free and generally convenient to all candidates.

Six (6) years down the line since JAMB launched its JAMB Online Information Services in 2002, providing candidates with their examination centre details without the need for physical presence at Zonal Offices or waiting for centre details to be sent by post.
By logging on to www.jambonline.com, candidates have access to the information they require on the service. This has helped in reducing the risks associated with candidates travelling long distances to access needed information at JAMB’s various offices. The introduction of the online center and result checker has increased the efficiency and effectiveness of getting such information on time and has also helped JAMB reduce stationery cost especially in sending all examination centers and results via post to its over one million candidates within and outside the country.
