They have over 50 terminals spread among the states of the federation with their head office located in Onitsha, Anambra state.
In order to eliminate certain operation bottlenecks and enhance service delivery to their numerous customers, Ifesinachi decided to move with the trend of technology advancement to eliminate the inefficiencies that hampered the delivery of quality service at their terminals. The manifestation of these inefficiencies, such as long queues, was attributed to issues arising from manual methods used in activities such as;

The portal automates processes such as;

  • Booking – having this done electronically introduces speed, accuracy and the assurance that the booking will not get missing (like paper documents have a tendency to). Tickets are printed on the spot from the booking data entered on the system
  • Payment – prospective travellers can make their payments using Interswitch cards thus saving time used in counting cash
  • Verifications – this only requires the input of the ticket number into the system and it is automatically verified
  • Audit Trail – having the system keep a record of all the activities that take place removes a huge load from running the company’s operations. An official monitors activities by generating reports from the logs created as activities progress. The ability to configure alerts when certain activities occur keeps the official abreast of activities at the terminal;
